It may not have been the most innocent of tracks before, but thanks to Brillz’s influence, “About to get Fresh” just got filthy.
With a sweat-soaked bassline, the remix establishes itself as the bad influence on the dancefloor. There’s simply no telling what this track might be capable of with its grinding rhythm and Jock Jams-like hyper-party vocal samples. Unfortunately for Chiddy Bang, he’s left out of the action, but Foreign Beggars’ OV is still here with the second verse flow.
Without the high-tempo bounciness of the Jack Beats original, the hip hop vocals sound much more at place here. Both tracks are solid but Brillz gets credit for letting the party unfold as nature intended.
